Many refer to the use of experimentation in creative projects, but few depict the exact meaning and process that this entails. Through the creation of this zine, I explored the use of experimentation through a detailed study of the material: gum. After exhausting many of the experimental options, I chose a particular experimental process that I repeated many times to yield slightly different results in a way that led the viewer through each page, without giving away the material or the process that was used. This relatively quick, logical way to experiment yielded completely unexpected, and often beautiful results.
